Catherine Clark join the crew TransparentSea Voyage beginning here at Leo Carrillo. A few photos from her stay at this part of the California coastline. Pictured above: Happy campers from the TransparentSea Voyage crew.

Above: The next day, we hiked up to the top of a hill overlooking Leo Carillo. The trail was lined with hundreds upon hundreds of sage plants. Below: Here's Chris Del Moro with a souvenir tucked in his hat.

Above: When we reached the top of the hill, filmer code named "Alien" let out a series of heavenly blows on the digery do. I can't explain how amazing it was, sitting atop the hill, in full embrace of it all, wrapped into a song dedicated to the sea and the earth, and all the spirit in between.

Above: In sync with the flow of it all. This journey taught me a lot about myself, a lot about what we will hear and feel when we are ready to listen.

Above: We ended up hiking down animal trails on the way back. It was difficult at first until I started pretending like I was surfing down the mountain, practicing getting low to the earth and feeling it, like the water. Made it a really enjoyable little mission. At the bottom of a trail was the hugest spider I have ever seen. Stoked this guy didn't crawl into my tent!
