Girls Final Under 16, yay Catherine!

The SIMA Surfing America USA Championships went off this weekend at the Huntington Beach Pier. Billabong surfer Kolohe Andino took 1st in two divisions (Under 18 & 16) and Catherine Clark won the Under 16 division.  Kolohe is always a solid ripper out there and Catherine hit rip status yesterday as well both of them bringing in Champion results.

In the Under 16 division final Kolohe made a statement early in the heat earning a near perfect score of 9.33 that kept the competition squirming to beat but with no success. In Catherine's final she took on the likes of California surfer Lakey Peterson and East Coast talent Quincy Davis.

Other Billabong outstanding results; Courtney Conlogue, 2nd place (Under 18), Evan Thompson, 2nd Place (Under 18), and Frankie Harrer, 3rd Place (Under 12). These kids are killing it.
