Billabong's hottest surfers at the Surfer Poll and Video Awards
The Surfer Poll Awards is touted as the Academy Awards of the surf industry--all the biggest brands and surfers in attendance up for high honors looking fine.
On this list of Billabong surf glitterati:
Taj Burrow honored twice: first for "Best Maneuver": frontside air (Still Filthy) and voted Surfer Poll's #5. See all the photos at Surferpoll.com
Currently unstoppable sitting #1 in the World and voted Surfer Poll's #2, Joel Parkinson.
Also worth mentioning Brazilian Maya Gaberia (who wasn't available to make it to the awards) was nominated for "Worst Wipeout" for a gnarly barrel she jumped and tumbled with out at Teahupoo.
Maya's words on the wipeout "It was possibly going to be my first wave of the day, Raimana started the ski and drove towards it. I remember he said, "I'm just looking." The next thing I knew I felt like I was in...but then I hear, "NO!" It was too late. I remember air-dropping then falling on my back, watching the lip coming to smash me, but before that happened I went over the falls with the amount of water that was sucking off the reef. Heaviest wipeout of my life!"
Watch footage of tumbler sure to make you cringe...
This is southern California's Greg Long. This monster barrel shot won photographer Todd Glaser "Photo of the Year;" in the right place at the right time. See more photos nominated at surferpoll.com
The champ Andy Irons nominated for "Best Male Performance" (Still Filthy) and voted Surfer Poll's #7.

Jared Tallman, Director of Surfer Poll's 2009 "Movie of the Year," Billabong's Still Filthy with Marketing Director Enich Harris. The movie premiered in the U.S. last Thursday night for a scream-ready packed house at the Hard Rock. Watch the movie trailer and let your jaw drop.
17-year-old Courtney Conlgoue was in attendance to present an award with Rob Machado to Dr. Dave of SurfAid International. He was awarded with a $15,000 donation for his cause.
Courtney styled in a top from Billabong Spring 2010 collection, the off-the-shoulder tee opens with slash cuts at the back. This is a must-have to be released this December.
Billabong's 16-year-old Catherine Clark wears the Billabong 'mohan' dress for Fall also available in a floral print.
