I love getting away to our family house up at Hollister Ranch. Last week the surf was pumping, and the off shore winds were blowing. It was absolute perfection. It's lovely to be far away from the hustle of LA and it was nice to surf with zero crowds out in the line up before I head over to Hawaii where all too often the line up is crowded with the circus that the famous waves the North Shore bring in every winter. However, Hawaii in the winter is one of the best places to be and I am psyching as I pack my bags up to spend the rest of December in my homeland.
