Billabong's young amateur surfer Alessa Quizon is among an elite group of up and coming female surfers. This week she tirelessly advanced through heat after heat of competition to all final heat of the ISA World Juniors successfully winning the Silver Medal!

The medal became hers after she landed a big air that earned her an 8.3 from the judges. A score that put a large gab between Alessa and two of the other competitors.
