Maya Gabeira (pictured above). She is a 4-time Billabong XXL Big Wave Award winner, the 2009 ESPY winner, and the 2010 Teen Choice Awards Winner in the 'Female Action Sports" category.
Also worthy of your Top 5, (picuted below) in the barrel, Kauai born surfer Keala Kennelly, also know as KK. Keala chased the Women's Title on the pro circuit, starred in the HBO series, John From Cincinnati, worked as a stunt double and starred as herself in Blue Crush, was one of the first female surfers to charge big heavy barrels at spots like Teahupoo, Tahiti, and continues to charge at spots like Puerto Escondido and Jaws. Add Keala Kennelly to your list of favs!
And Courtney Conlgue, (pictured below), she's the 2009 US Open of Surfing winner, 2009-10 OC Surfer of the Year, 2009 ISA World Surfing Games Gold Medalist, and the 2008 NSSA Nationals Open Womens Champ.
