New to the Billabong family Helen Schettini takes on a serious role in the backcountry.
Appearances can be deceiving as the petite brunette charges the backcountry like no
other. Sledding and shredding perilous cliffs and hazardous lines through the Canadian
Rockies is her forte.

With a full video part in "Yes It’s A Movie" and another on its way to wrap up the 2012 season, Helen is on the right track to becoming a backcountry legend.

"I was super impressed. First of all she rips on a sled, which takes years to learn, she charged anything we pointed out to her, then picked the biggest drops possible and, most importantly, baked banana bread for everyone. I was super stoked to have her along with the crew, seems like all the freeriding she does on the hill transfers to her confidence charging lines and cliffs in the backcountry. Not many girls have that experience, so to me that's why she stands out. I think she's one to watch for sure."
