Goals/plans in the next 6 months?
My plans for the next six months are to work and train really hard so that I can perform my best for this upcoming season. My goals are to qualify for Team USA and compete in the ISA World Junior Games this January in New Zealand, do well in the upcoming Junior Pros to try to qualify for the World Juniors in Narrabeen, Australia, and win NSSA High School State Championships for Laguna Beach High School. Oh, and try to survive my Junior year of high school!
One thing/activity/hobby/idea your are passionate about outside of your sport? Describe if possible. I
just love the ocean. Growing up in a little beach town like Laguna, I've been in the water swimming, boogie boarding, bodysurfing, and playing since I was just a little kid. I'm passionate about preserving our beaches and oceans, and in the future I am considering majoring in environmental studies or marine biology in college.
What's the best thing about your lifestyle/sport?
The best thing about surfing is how free you feel when you go for a surf. You get to relax and unwind from the stressful life you leave behind on the beach. The surf lifestyle is amazing because you get to travel to beautiful places and meet lots of crazy and fun people.
What do you want more than anything else?
I want happiness for myself and everyone I love.
Describe the ultimate trip? Or the best trip of your life?
My ultimate trip would be to somewhere tropical with crystal clear water just a couple close friends and good food. The best trip of my life was Bali with Billabong this summer! Courtney, Alessa, Cat, and I met up with the Australia girls team and traveled throughout Bali and surfed a bunch of really fun waves.
